I thought the low frequency denizens mught be interested in this. It looks like a pretty good deal, certainly a better buy than the $5000 Exploiter on NY craigslist. The link below is the one the guy has on his craigslist listing and has all the relevant info and then some.

Bill, tgo

Whoa, hit the link that says "used as a weapon"- takes you to a gnarly you tube of Kieth whacking a stage rusher or something.

Hey there, I'm the owner/seller. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask here or in private email at jamie@white-mountain.org.

I added an audio clip (<a href="http://www.white-mountain.org/forsale/Alembic/Treeline.mp3</a">) for my fellow Alembic lovers on the board.

I floated it on Craigslist to try and avoid the hassle of shipping but the $1200-$1350 offers are just not doin' it for me. :-)

I have one serious offer, and if that doesn't work I'll stick it in eBay and post a link to it on this board.

BTW I'm asking the same price I paid for it in May of 1995: $1750 (from The Guitar Shop in Washington, DC). It's a pretty good deal IMO if only for the inflation difference (would be $2100ish now, without the sweet restoration work and fitted gig bag). And I did see that $1500 one on eBay, which sold pronto and also lacked the restoration and gig bag, so I figure my price is reasonable & "priced to sell". :-)

Jamie:

Welcome to the club. I concur that your price is emminently fair. If I was a bass player I'd jump all over this, especially as you're just down the road from me (Oakland). Good luck.

Bill, the guitar one
