Whoever is selling this needs to be tarred and feathered for ruining such a wonderful piece of Kauri- I know it's not Alembic, but goodness gracious, what a mess.

It's a Picasso Precision, I think. The other partially shown bass (a Warwick, maybe) was probably happy that it wasn't included in the picture. How embarassing.

Never seen "Doom," but I'm assuming that there was a weapon of mass destruction that looks eerily similar to the "bass guitar" shown above...

People contract a virus that turns them into ugly blob type creatures that kind of resembles a person. Not a pretty site!

If I were a rhinoceros I would be upset at being associated with such a monstrosity. Thank goodness they have poor eye-sight so will never haver to look at it.

Salvador Dali inspired? Uh, here goes...other than the extra bits of metal, I sorta like it. The wood is beautiful, it's an imaginative execution of a functional tool.
My guess is that the wood probably existed close to this in it's natural state - think a cross section of a large knobby cypress root.

Would I buy it, nope. But I can appreciate it.

Man, that thing has got to be incredibly neck-heavy. That it's butt ugly is beyond question.
