That body looks kind of maple to me, though I could be wrong. It is an exceptional deal in today's market for an Essence five. |

If I had the spare cash it would be mine. I have 2 and they sound and record beautifully. I agree its a great price. |

WOW ! My Essence 4string has got a 5string twin sister ! I adopted her off of eBay about six weeks ago for USD 1.300. It's indeed an all-maple body... Christian |

Speaking of 5 string maple Essences, I happen to see one during my recent travels through the Midwest. Exact same bass as pictured above, price was $1200. Drop me an email in my profile if you are interested and I will send you store location & number (mom & pop store, took it in on trade.) I have no affiliation, I just like to see Alembics go to good homes. |
