Hey guys & gals(I think we have a gal or two. right?) My dad is looking to acquire a six string Alembic Bass. He wants to invest $2500-$3500. He'd take a set neck. But I'd like to find him a deal on a neck-through if we can. Let me know. El Doctor |

i'm hitting the road tomorrow but posted in the serial number section some time back for build info and will look for it. was asking about half of the low end of what Dad wants to pay. For you, market less the good neighbor discount. i'll try to find the info while traveling. dw |

Sorry Guys. I was mistaken. When my dad told me to find him a six-string he didn't clarify that he wanted a guitar. Thank you David and Cameron So now I need to find a 6-string Alembic Guitar for $2500-$3500. Any Takers? |

Doc: I've been thinking about selling my '83 Electrum. It's a wonderful guitar (after all, it's an Alembic!) and was my first Alembic. The only complaint I have with it is that the strings are spaced a little too close together for my fingers. There is room to replace the nut and spread them out a little more, if one wanted to. Between my Series I, my modded Masterhand, my soon to be completed (hopefully) Custom Further, and some others, the Electrum is the odd one out. Here's a link: http://alembic.com/club/messages/411/12743.html?1126428257 Bill, tgo |
