Well I finally decided to bring my near perfect Ricky 12 to the World Guitar Show this weekend for sale/trade, but I thought I'd post it here first. Standard Ricky plus the hard-to-find, discontinued, "Rick-o-sound" stereo splitter box and cord. Why am selling? Two reasons: First, the Ricky has a notoriously narrow neck for a 12 string - it is virtually the identical neck as the 6 and these fingers are a little big for it. I can chord no problem, but hitting individual notes in an arpeggio cleanly can be a task. Second, (and more importantly) last night I finished the multi-organ transplant I've been working on in my spare time. I dropped a set of Alembic pickups, filter and 3-way Q into a Fender Strat XII. Yee Haaa! If anyone is interested in the Ricky let me know and I'll send some pics. I'm only interested in local pickup - I don't want to deal with shippping right now. Bill, tgo |
