It's just a thought right now. But, if the RIGHT person came along with enough $, I would consider parting with my "Baby" that I had built in 1975 / 1976 and rebuilt just last year. (FYI - the rebuild cost was more than the original production cost!) There are a few "old timers" in this group that know a bit of the storied history of this instrument that was built by Ron, Rick Turner and Frank Fuller. I'm told by Mica that replacement cost is in excess of $20,000.00, today. You may see some "in progress" shots of the rebuild here http://alembic.com/club/messages/631/653.html?1035337774
Feel free to drop me a direct email if you would like to talk seriously about the possible sale and get more detailed info and pix of the completed work. I will NOT put this instrument up on ebay - it will ONLY be available through the club.
