As much as I love the Bass and have been looking for one for the past 5 years. It is priced out of my range. I know the price jumped up from 2000 to 3995, and I am sorry for that. However, I was led to believe that the bass I have was a standard and it turns out that it is a deluxe. After discussing the bass for a long time with Alembic they suggested that I put it on Ebay with a reserve no less than $4000. I really dislike the whole cloak-and-dagger aspect of selling, so i listed it at $3995. I hope that those interested will ask me any and all questions. Good luck.
