Im realy interested in getting a custom Epic bass made by Alembic with a scorpion body shape(like Greg Lake's)fretless, with a Flame maple topwood on the body & peghead.everthing else on it would be standard Epic(electronics, hardware, ect).Does anyone know of or recommend a good Finance Company I could contact to get the Monetary side of things rolling? -Chris |

I can't help you out with the finance company, but I think it'll be a killer bass... |

EPIC controls...? You should get a filter & Q switch too... they're an essential part of the Alembic sound. Get the "East Meets West" electronics... which offers BOTH the Epic controls AND the standard Alembic filter & Q setup. I also love the Scorpian body style... it was my favorite until I saw the Europa (which was my favorite until they came up with the Balance K!) Good luck with it! |

I think with the Epic electronics that as well captures the Alembic sound, even with filters, they have a beautiful fundimental tone underneath the whole time (to Me).Also, depending on where your plucking hand is you can change the tone as well, its not as obvious change, but there is a deffinite difference.(thanks for the suggestion though). -Chris |
