All

Bass Northwest in Seattle have an Epic 4-string and an Essence fretless - click on link below.

I bought my Elan from them - they're good guys!

Howdy Grant,
Was it a beautiful red Elan 5?
I was the owner behind the consignment,
How did it fair traveling around this planet?...

I am glad she found a happy home.

cheers

Hi, yes she is a magnificent red Elan! She's my pride and joy - a magnificent instrument.

I picked her up myself from Bass NW, and brought her back to NZ with me.

Glad to hear your experience was satisfacory. Any feedback regarding packing/shipping that might prove useful?

I'm considering the fretless Essence.

thanks,

Hi Mike,

I can't speak for Grant, but I've bought several basses and an amp from Chad and Evan at Bass Northwest, and have received only the finest in service. The items they shipped to me were new and in OEM packaging, but I'm sure they'd be careful packing and shipping used items.

That Essence looks really nice, good luck!

I can attest that a Korean Hamer 12 arrived safe and sound to New Jersey in a new looking TKL tweed case.

Thanks for the responses, Reid and Danno.

I talked to Chad a few minutes ago, very friendly and helpful.

Currently the Essence is on hold for an overseas buyer. I'm next in line if the deal falls through. There's always another one out there if this one gets away.

This may the sign you were waiting on Mike.
If that overseas deal falls thru
I'd have to say the bass is for you

Hi, I called into the store in Seattle and picked the bass up in person. Took it home with me as checked baggage (with Air New Zealand) - arrived safely!

Thanks, Grant

Chad informed me that the Essence was on it's way to France.

Two fine basses; two happy owners, congratulations!
