I love the seller's explanation of why, if you live in the U.S., it's better to buy a guitar from Japan.

Very pretty Electrum - unusual quilted maple top. Also has a three pickup configuration that is unusual for an Electrum. Of course, it could be argued that any Electrum is unusal. These are very nice guitars, My first Alembic was an Electrum that I recently sold.

Interestingly, part of the cavity is not shielded. Nice looking Mahagony. Nice guitar!

Bill; so what I'm wondering is, then why didn't he just send this one to his brother too? <g>
