I don't recall ever hearing of this band. I just read a brief bio; apparently they were writing and playing music similar to Yes. |

$3000 seems to be the going rate for an older Series I. I'd want to see the condition of the frets. |

Gary's cover band opened for my band in Champaign,Il. several times. Had a chance to speak with him, and what a cool guy. He had been playing Alembics since the '70's and it was interesting to hear his take on our beloved brand. I wish I'd gotten to know him better. |

Thanks Adam! Tony; given the usual caveats concerning a bass you can't actually see or play in person, with the exception of the selector switch location, this is very similar to my bass; and I really like my bass. So my biased opinion is that I tend to think that it's a very good deal at $3k, usual caveats considered. There's a thread around here somewhere in which Mica discusses the best method for removing decals. |
