I've made a decision to thin out my collection some. I’ve already listed a couple of axes on eBay but thought I’d let the guys here know about the others first.

I’ve got a couple Warwick Thumb Basses (a 4 string and a 5 string) both neck thru and a Warwick Dolphin Pro 5 string neck thru.
I’ll probably be selling my 2 Kubicki EX Factors and both my Daion basses (4 string).
I’ve some others I’ll be selling too, a 72 Telecaster Bass and an 8string Ibanez Studio bass.

The only reason I am selling them is that I just don’t play them anymore. They’re just hanging on the wall like trophies and that just ain’t right.

Anyway, if interested shoot me an email (check my profile) and I can send some photos and info.

Your email address isn't in your profile, Olie. Only the link to your MySpace page and one must be a MySpace member to reach you through it as far as I can tell. Personally, I'd like to hear/see about your 8 string. I'd like to mess with one of those at some point.

I saw the pink Kubicki on eBay.
There's no hiding on stage with that bass:

The ExFactor is a really cool bass. I haven't played one in ten years or so, but I remember it being quite solid. The 32" scale is also very playable with a very innovative way to get the low D. I never owned one, but I could have been quite happy with one before I put my hands and ears on an SC.

My email is dabassplayer@tx.rr.com

I also have a "off" white and Aqua Green Kubickis. I may be selling them too but am not 100% on that yet.(Can't sell them all)
They are very solid basses.

A little info on the Pink Kubicki.

I bought it in 91 fromm Jimmy Wallace when had his Music Southwest store in the Dallas area.

The Pink is one of the more rare colors Phillip made. (he only made a few). It was colored after his favorite Edsel (so I'm told).

Olie,

Do you have a picture of the Tele? I'll be honest - I'm not looking to buy it - but I would love to see it, I don't see enough of those!

Here it is. I've owned since the early 80's. I bought it from the original owner just the way it is. The finish I'm pretty sure isn't original. It doesn;t look like it.

That logo was put on there by the guy I bought the bass from. His bands name was "White-Lightning" and that was their logo.

What kind of pickup is that on the Tele? Was it stock on a '72?

Hey Olie -

Hope this finds you well - I nearly had a heart attack when I saw your name next to a "thinning the herd" header. You've got a phenomenol collection, and it's always hard to let one go, but maybe easier if they don't have Alembic on the headstock :-)

We need to plan a fall jam in Dallas again. Looks like they had a great time in NC last month.

Olie. Can you post a pic of the Ibanez 8 if you still have it?

I've sold the 6 String Warwick and the Pink Kubikci already. Did well on the Kubicki but not so good on the WW.
I've got quite a few interested in the Ibanez and am not 100% sure I want to sell it. I've owned it since the mid 80's. I'll post some pix of it anyway and will entertain any offers.

I ready for a fall festival John.

It's hard to let the kiddies go,

Yes Sir BOB, has first choice on the Ibanez. I'll try and get the pix to you tonight.

Thanks, Olie
