I'm looking for an Alembic 6-string neck-thru bass, such as an Essence, Rogue, or Europa. I'd like to work out a trade with a 5 string Essence + cash or a Warwick 6-string (bolt on)+ cash. Email me for photos of either bass and any questions. Thanks!

I saw that green one Bill. In the ad he says the only reason he is selling it is because they just had their 6th child. Sounds to me like he should spend more time playing bass. LOL

Jim Elliot, a missionary killed by native Indians in Ecuador in the 1950's, once said: "He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot loose."

I know your comment was meant in jest. But the fact that some of us value children (who will live forever) over pieces of wood and electronics (which will rot one day) is not a joking matter.

I really like my two Alembics. I wouldn't trade them for any other bass on the planet. But I love my children infinately more. If someone offered me a choice of brand new Series II or another child, I would pick the child every time. No contest.

We all make our choices in live. I respect your right to live the way you have chosen. Please see that others have chosen differently.

Grace and peace, Kevin

I think the joke was about the making, not the having ...

Not wanting to hi-jack this thread, Kevin may want to read this.

In the original eBay listing in post #4 above this bass shows to have been sold. I wonder why it is relisted.

Olie; looks like it's been sold again.
