Well, I'm looking for a good deal on a fretted Alembic. I prefer neck-through and really want something with purpleheart laminates, but I will consider set-neck or no laminates if the offer is good. Either 5 or 4 string is fine. Short or medium scale may be acceptable, but not XL. Must be willing to deal with someone in New Mexico. Thank you!

Hi, I've been thinking about selling my 4-string Elan Plus lately. My daughter goes off to college next year and I'm starting to realize my shortcomings... :-)

Here's the build sheet info:
Date of Completion: 4-90
Serial Number: 90H5943
Model Name: Elan Plus
Model Number: HLSB-4
Top Laminate: Bocate
Tuners: Gotoh (though the first owner put a hip shot in place of the E tuner)
Accent Wood: (none)
Inlays: Oval
Body Wood: Maple
Strings: Alembic
Neck: 3 pc
Electronics: Europa
Fingerboard: Ebony
Veneers: Bocate
Finish: Clear
Custom Features: (none)

The bass is pretty much perfect - never been played out. I can send you some photos if it interests you.

The Elan Plus is a nice mix of standard body style and upgraded Europa electronics.

Let me know if you are interested. We can talk details then.

thanks,

Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately I'm not looking anymore because I bought a B-eautiful Medium scale disillate 5.
