This looks like a nice bass to me. I love the zebra top and back. I especially LOVE the older finish. BUT!!! Look closely! Someone has changed out the tuning keys to Grover keys. Check it out. I think it came originally with Schaller tuning keys. To fit the Grover keys, the headstock must be drilled out. To put them back to original is not just a direct swap. |

Dave, I saw your interest in that Alembic on EBay...if you're still looking for one, I have a Mark King Signature Series 1 4 string that I'm about to put up for sale. I am the original owner and I guarantee you that it has not been modified like someone told you about the one on EBay.
