They don't appear often at Ebay:

Nice binding. Wonder what the initials mean?

Interesting. Unfortunately, it's being offered by a zero-feedback seller.

Haven’t we discussed a monogrammed Series before?

Firt Alembic I've ever seen with a bound headstock.

We have discussed a monogrammed Series 2 before; you may be thinking of the "Be Bold and Mighty Forces Will Come to Your Aid" bass that was bought by a Club member and refinished.
I would remember if this bass had come up before. It's not every day you see an Alembic that should wear a bag over its' head.

I think one we discussed had the initials inlayed on the fretboard, not the headstock.

Someone purchased it privately or the seller has changed their mind.

Message on eBay "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

Well the seller didn't put much effort into it. They didn't even clean the dust off of the head stock.

Agreed - noticed that dust too. I was wondering if the power supply and case were included as well.

There was, I think, a DISTILLATE that has initials in it that was up for sale somewhere or other (I saw it on this site) a while back... the initials were in the fretboard... perhaps that's what people are thinking of...?

The bound headstock is the only one I have ever seen - very unusual. Nice, though.

The bass is now over at The LowEnd Bass Shop and looks to have cleaned up very nice.

It does look good. A little TLC and good photography can make a big difference.
