Bump-

I've given up hope of finding a vintage BC Rich with a Kahler....I think a new USA Jackson is in my future. Anyways, I'm putting it up for sale and will take reasonable offers, nothing less than what I paid for it. I am not expecting Gbase prices, and I think this is a good opportunity for anyone who wants a nice El Monte Koa Mock with a rare wood combo at a very reasonble price. It is 100% original and extremely clean. Yes, the schaller buttons are correct as I have seen multiple guitars on Terada's site with schaller strap locks around this guitar's serial number which is 8219X. I'm guessing this guitar was built and finished very early in the first quarter of 1980.

Figured koa wings, rosewood stringers, rock maple neck with the same marroon stain used for the original Bich prototype. This wood combo, along with the maple wing/rosewood stringer/koa neck was only made available to Hollywood Guitars in LA and Japan. I have seen very few of these in relation to total BC Rich I've seen. El Monte cut guarantees this guitar was built and assembled in the states completely, plus chicks like the thicker horn. Original hardcase shows cosemetic wear put has all its feet and latches which function perfectly. Electronics and hardware are totally correct. The guitar shows some slight buckle marks on the back, feathering/pick marks in the playing area and a few hairline scratches on the neck. It is an excellent example of a 27 year old instrument and looks about 8 years old. Frets are excellent. Included are the strap locks for the strap buttons. It is a killer mock, I never play it as I'm in love with my shorty. Please send me any questions, pic requests, or offers you might have. Thanks ya'll.
