Nice! You don't see too many S1 Exploiters. The A and D tuners are not in the proper alignment. It looks like the center screw that holds both tuners down may be missing. |

The screw is there, the tuner hold down tabs are broken. |

That was something Alembic did on narrow cone headstocks. The two tuners come too close together, so they clipped them and held them down with a single screw. Not the best design, but generally functional. Nothing a dab of epoxy or some such wouldn't improve upon. |

Yes bsee is correct, I own a Exploiter/Spoiler that I purchased off Ebay from the original owner, its all factory original and the tuners are the same way, it has no issues cause of this. no epoxy needed......... BeeLee |

bsee - that's not really a "narrow cone" headstock. Check the Spoiler on my profile, that's what I call a narrow cone. Of course mine has the same issue with the single screw holding the A and D tuners, but it's still keeping everything in place (cross fingers). Somehow it doesn't look like a true short scale.
