Heres one for you Alembicans based in the UK, a gorgeous 5 string Orion in as new condition. Walnut top, rogue headstock..£1495 seems fair enough but perhaps the seller is open to negotiate a little! I would like this one myself, but I had a sizeable debt to santa on the night before Xmas Check out ebay.co.uk and check it out! |

I believe that this is the same bass from Bass and Beyond from a couple of months ago. |

I am sorely tempted to buy this one..I love it, HOWEVER, I seriously need to behave myself as regards cash-flow at this moment in time so its going to have to slip past me |

"There will always be another one" seems to be the operative term for passing on a beautiful Alembic. I said that to myself many many times as this was for sale months ago by the original owner whom was a former Alembic employee I believe. |

I am still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger earlier on this Walnut beauty. I fought the battle of trying to justify based on the amount of gigs these days. He who hesitates is lost...... |

If im not seriously mistaken that bass used to belong to John Prock who is a member to the forum. He was once employed by the mothership and he made this while he was with them. |

What an interesting bass! Thanks Danny. I emailed the seller and passed this info on to him, he actually seems a very genuine chap! Seems a reasonable price for an Orion here in the UK, i want it (have convinced myself that I need a 5 string!)but alas it is not to be this time |

That bass is gonna give me sleepless nights.... It's just passed the auction close date and still not sold. Maybe he's gonna have to drop the price...,, if it's by the right amount we may have a battle on our hands Mr White_Cloud... hhaha Jazzyvee |

Jazzyvee, it would have to plummit to fall into my current price range..and after talking to the seller I really dont see that happening! He knows its a "good-un" and already believes it is "priced to sell" It will be interesting to see if he re-lists it at a different price! John. |
