Has anyone been watching the auctions for what looks like could be part of the monitor system?...I've got a bid or two on some of it,seems like some familiar genius-hippy-handyworks I ended up with a trucker cab for what looks like could fit a twin reverb head ; maybe I'll have to find some appropriate innards. Does anyone have some ideas about where these black boxes fit into the big picture? here |

I have been watching it closely. That same guy mentions that he has a very early Alembic pre amp. I have asked for more pics and details, but he has not responded. It seems that he does not really know what the stuff is. Hopefully the Alembic pre he is offering is one of the very few rack mountable Alembic parametric EQ's similar to the Furman PQ-3. I think that would be a cool piece to have! |

It's nice to see little histories unveiled once in a while...most so far seems like signal distribution as opposed to tone shaping, the seller is staggering the GD auctions; I was outbid on the MC2300 with banana plugs and backstage stickers, wondering what might be left. (I am intrigued by the hiel tweets he has up). cheers |

this has been bouncing around the last few months...(and the price goes up each time). I guess its just too clean of a sound...takes a lickin...testament to a solid build. 6 channel pre |
