the serial number is a bit confusing... most likely it should read "83D2766", and the bass is a 1983 Distillate. the seller stated the # to be 88D2766, but that wouldn't comply with the Alembic # nomenclature, and he also said he bought the bass in '83 or '84... anyway, good luck with your quest and welcome to the club ! Thanks for the posts and the welcome - I saw it on ebay but do not like that it is all black - I would like one where you can see the go-though neck which makes these bass guitars so beautiful!! | ||
