For future reference, here's a picture of that semi-hollow SC with a Rickenbacker'ish F-hole ... The neck join looks like a set-neck, so with the electronics setup I would guess it's a custom Excel ... Personally, I prefer the back laminate! |

Wow, that's sexy! Too bad it's upside down. That's a bass that absolutely demands a wide strap, though. A regular SC tends to be neck heavy for balance, so I would bet a semi-hollow version would carry that further. |
