mmh, the pics are not very good. I have two Warwick Thumbs in Bubinga which look different in wood to this Sereis 1 - but there is a great range in different bubinga woods. There is burl and swirl and so on. I've seen a lot of different Warwick Thumbs all in Bubinga. Was Bubinga a wood option back in the 80s at Alembic? Is it today? I love the sound and feeling of my Warwicks - beside my Serie 1 in Lacewood ;-)) |

I think the handles on either side of the headstock are an interesting feature. The top and back do look very nice in the pictures. So does the Persuader! |
