This looks like a nice clean instrument at a sensible(?) price for anyone in the uk who likes to play basses with all those little bits of metal fastened across the fingerboard... its here |

24 hours 24 hours 24 hours .... ... within 24 hours I will get it from my in-laws who picked it up for me, it's been 11 days since I "won" it and I still haven't even seen it. Can you believe it? Every day, I dream of it .. every night... Jas |

Nice score John and welcome to the club. Good to see yet another UK player on here. Pretty soon we'll outnumber the American contingent. At least those living in alaska ;-) Graeme |

Art, Ellery, Graeme, Thank you - I feel genuinely welcome here I've had the bass for an hour now and I'm just blown away by the quality and playability, outstanding! I will take great care of her. I've posted in the serial number forum to find out what wood the bass is made of. Ebony fingerboard, for sure. Body, not sure. Now I have to learn more about the Alembic family. Happy days! Jas |

Congratulations and a big +1 on the pictures. I see you also put in a request for build info- sometimes it takes awhile for those to get done (paper files that need to get pulled then manually entered in the request thread). If you were to post a few pictures in the showcase section the crowd here could probably nail all the pertinent build details for you. Welcome aboard- there's no going back now! |
