Complete three piece Pro Stage Rig consisting of: 2ea. EA Cxl-210 Cabinets, 2-10" w/one having a Coaxial Horn, Built-in Crossover, 600 watts, 8 ohm, in MINT condition. These are "transmission line" cabinets (read about that @ the EA website, www.eaamps.com ...it REALLY DOES WORK!)), they are compact and VERY powerful. They will cover most any size gig and two will cover a stadium stage. They are quite amazing. EA iAmp500/UK The original series of EA amps which were built by Ashdown in the UK. Only 100 were built, this is #93, but I have two others that I gig with. I bought this as a backup a few years ago but in the last 10 years the two main heads never needed anything... so this goes. 500 watts @ 4 ohms (much LOUDER than you'd think). This is basically an Ashdown ABM500 with EA's current iAmp800 front end. *I believe that this amp has the best of BOTH companies features. This one has the HUGELY variable EA front-end and the built-in Sabine tuner as well....no longer available. This is the "Swiss Army Knife" of bass amps! You can play for 20 or 20,000 with this rig. OK, the bottom line....... $1295/FOB, Albany, NY You will never find better for less! We can chat @ hifibass@aol.com if you like. Ken |

Just a quick note here to vouch for Ken...he's local to me, and I dealt with him in person on a non-Alembic bass about two years ago. He was completely straight with me. |

I just sold by EA IAmp 800 stack not too long ago. I had a problem with the headroom but what a clean sound. Sounds like a great deal. |

I can send pics if anyone is seriously interested. To my ear the 500/UK is much warmer sounding than the current 800's. The basic architecture and preamp is essentially the same but the power section is completely different. (Message edited by dreambass on August 19, 2008) |

SOLD TO JOHN P. FROM BRAINTREE, MA., THANK YOU, SIR! FYI to all.....J.P. is a really nice guy, and a credit to this forum, who recognizes a good deal when he sees it and moves on it. I'm grateful to both him and the Alembic site. John, if you see this....... thank you again and I hope our paths will cross again. KWS P.S. I'm still trying to find out what happened to my Series One/Omega, #76/456. In spite of two formal requests for info...... the silence is deafening. Anyone know where "My Princess" is? |
