DS-5 Needed

Author Message docray New Username: docray Post Number: 1 Registered: 7-2008 Posted on Tuesday, July 01, 2008 - 12:37 pm:    I"m Michael "Doc" Ray. I'm a(n Alembic) bassist in Redwood City, CA. I play custom fretted and fretless Alembic 5 strings. Both Alembics are powered via an outboard DS-5. It's located on a pedalboard along with various stomp boxes. Here's my problem: I designed a very nice new pedalboard. A guy in New York built it. He placed my pedals, and the DS-5 on the new board. He shipped it to me via FedEx. FedEx lost the board! So, I need at least one replacement DS-5. Mica suggested that I use this discussion group. I have good news. Fedex located my pedalboard in a dusty corner of their facility at the Oakland airport. They finally delivered my board with everything intact yesterday! But, I still want to search for another DS-5. I'd also be interested in a "hobby box," as Mica called it. (It's a less elegantly constructed, and smaller, version of a DS-5, usually only mono.)
