What are the clubs thoughts on #110279391938 Europa 5 string on ebay? Looks pretty cool i already got an Europa 5 string fretless on order but, looks like it would be a great bass for someone who would appreciate it. May recommend it to a friend.

Yea!That blue moon burst, it's an incredibly beautiful bass. I already have a Rogue fretted 5 though....looking for a maple fretless 5.

I am smitten by this bass! I'll be watching it closely... Hopefully I can welcome it into my bass family as my very first Alembic!

I'd ask the seller and see if the electronics have been changed in anyway- the standard for the Europa is vol, pan, filter with a Q switch and two 3 position switches for bass/treble. I'd get clarification from the seller asking if those quick change switches have really been changed to something else.

It could be that the seller is just hearing the effect of the cut/normal/boost and assuming it's single coil, series and parallel, but it's worth confirming that the electronics haven't been mucked with.

I'd have a go at it but my Senior Management said she hated the colour and if I wanted to buy an Alembic it has to be a natural-finished one, or in the "worst" case sunburst...

The seller writes:

"I am sure you are correct with the switch configurations. From what I can tell the electronics appear to be factory and with NO modifications after production."

Wasn't this same bass bought and sold recently on ebay?
