Hi again, Yes, I'm still searching for a left handed series bass.I haven't given up hope but I'm
feeling rather discouraged right now. If anyone has a clue as to the whereabouts of a lefty I or II, I'd be curious to find out if any even exist. Thanks again in advance for any assistance.

Jean Luc Picard?

I would think that one would be hard to find used. I know someone here in New Orleans that has one. He would NEVER part with it. He bought it new in the 70's and has had it since. I would think a left handed person with one of these would be reluctant to get rid of it. From what I understand, left handed instruments are hard to come by. But, if you buy a new one.........

OK,I'm a big star Trek fan, but an even bigger Alembic fan!! I totally understand why your friend would never part with his bass. It's just good to know that one actually does exist. Do you think your friend would mind communicating with me? I'd really enjoy talking bass with another lefty alembic player.
