Just a correction to the details posted there: only the pickup next to the bridge is a Fatboy, the next one is an MXY. |

The lister doesn't live too far from me, i've never met the guy but he must be a dealer, whenever i look on e-bay for Alembics, this guy,more often than not, has one for sale... If anyone else is interested in the purchase, i can always check the bass out in person, if that's any help? |

Unless the seller has loads of basses exactly like this one, this bass has been on sale on and off on ebay for months. Even though we pay a premium here in the UK for used Alembics, that Excel 4 is up for more than I paid for my used Europa 5 and Elan 4 Plus. So for that reason I think he's asking a bit much. I'd say its probably a seller closer to the £1000 to £1100 Sterling. Just my 50p's worth. Jazzyvee |
