Jazzy, That is a Stambaugh medium scale 4 with dual dragon inlays , Alembic signature electronics and a double whammy that I have blocked for playability. The amusement of the whammy didn't last for me.

Feel free to make offers y'all, I have been known to sell things cheap when the mood strikes. Danno Delivery is possible if you are in the tri-state area of NYC.

I remember seeing that Stambaugh, or one very like it, for sale a few years ago. If that's the bass, it was strung piccolo at the time. Interesting toy, but I could see how the whammy thing might not maintain a lasting hold on you. Still, picking it up and messing with it from time to time might give you new musical ideas. I could see a solo artist using effects getting some good mileage out of it.

Well, good luck with your sales as usual, Danno, and sorry about the tangent. Keep me in mind if you decide to let that sweet Distillate fiver go.

Hey David!

Site says it weighs 69 pounds. That's less than an SII in a 1/2" flight case weighs. If you have a hand truck (My best friend), then no problem.

Thanks, Thomas. Forgot how helpful the internet is. Actually looking at it as an alternative to lugging my Eden 410, which is in the neighborhood of 100 lbs. So, Danno, what do you figure it'll cost to ship to 60047?

Fedex to Switzerland for an estimate was almost $200 US. If I can do better, I will. But I would go as low as $400 plus shipping.

I can send it to wherever you wish. Namm is in Anaheim California. I should be going in January but traveling with an F1X is not an option. The price is $400 plus shipping. If you give me an address I can estimate the shipping to Boston. C'est la vie.

Interest isn't really the same as commitment. If the party involved states I will purchase your item, then that is a commitment. So whoever relates that to me first will be the party I do business with. You can email me via my profile.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Is there any way you can check for yourself to see if the noise issue might be a reasonable one that might be a tube fix. either way I am interested. I might be able to get it fixed. Could you quote me a price including shipping. I live in LA, CA 90291.

Best regards.
