Ai-ai-ai I wish you luck, I MEAN it!!! Those things are Soooo rare! It was my good friend Edwin (EVH) who signalled me one in his shop in Holland and he kept it for me. I paid him in 12 "shifts" and got it just recently (after the last payment). Unfortunaltely I was not able yet to use it because my rack is not ready yet. I looked two (2) years for one. You HAVE to go for it AND I really wish you luck. If something pops up I let you know. I know there is obne collaegue Aussie who bought one from a Dutch club-member. So don't hesitate to buy a SF-2 with a different Power set-up (110/120/220/240V) that can be changed in no time even by baboon as me! Paul the bad one |

Hello Hup, it's exciting to read that you are "SEARCHING" for ultimate tone. Believe me that's undoubtedly what the SF-2 is going to produce. It's a GOOD idea to anxiously wait for a bargain, however, it's certainly a BAD strategy when you wait too long and miss your window of oppurtunity. Remember: If you won't buy it, someone else who may also be searching for a bargain ultimately will. You see Hup, last year I was "searching" for a SERIES II bass, and some of the brothers here in the club shared their knowledge and wisdom with me. Well, I listened and didn't hesitate, because I learned that I wasn't the only one "searching"... There were THREE of us eye balling the bass!!! What I didn't know at the time of course, was how close the other persons window of oppurtunity was relative to my own. Hup, why are you still searching? You've found what you WERE looking for, right? The price is more than reasonable too (look at current retail price) Trust me, once you hear the tones a superfilter will produce, you won't have time to think about the cost, because you'll be too busy discovering many different tones. |
