For the Excel it would be$1600 w/case. I also have a mint Distillate 5 in flame walnut but that is pricy at $2800.

More deep purple than black. This is the top under the finish that shows through.

$1600 for that Excel is a steal! Too bad it's not a 32" bass or that would be my test case for an EADGC fiver.

Im interested in your Excel Danno but my question is just how Im gonna get the money soon enough to you before you maybe sell it to somebody else...I currently have a fender jazz bass that Im looking to sell as well as a Gallien Krueger amp and a multi-effects pedal so that could be some money towards it. I have never owned an Alembic before or even played one but I live in New Jersey and would be willing to drive up to where ever you live and try out the bass if you would be willing to let me.

I always have a first come, first served policy (sometimes to my financial detriment) . If the bass is still available when you have the funds we can arrange a visit. I'm 10 - 15 minutes from the GWB.

Hi Breen you are correct, the bass that you have is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a Fender Custom Shop 5 string bass. I now have an Epic 5 string in beautiful condition that I would consider trading for the right Fender Jazz. Hey thanks for the reply, and I hope that things work out for you!

The mint 89 Distillate 5 in flame walnut is going to Smoking Bear in beautiful California. Thanks for your support.
