Serial # 94K8803 All maple body with premium quilted maple top. Neck through maple and walnut(I believe). There's some thumb wear in the front finish, a few other small dings, and the bridge is in need of a polish. I bought the Flitz polish but ended up leaving it as is. I kinda' liked the way it looked worn-in. There's some wear on the back, but none through the finish. I tried, but I wasn't able to get the imperfections to show in the pics. Sound is very bright and punchy, with a rich, throaty bottom end. No issues with neck, frets, or electronics. Sounds as sweet as it looks. Case needs new latches. Interior is good, and outside is okay/fair. Check it out! $1400 plus shipping (Con US) No trades please. I've done business on eBay for 10 years with 100% positive feedback under the id pizzareah. I am now the proud owner of the beauty. My thanks to Greg- a total gentleman, honest and accurate with regards to description and everything else. I've wanted an all maple five string Essence for awhile now, and this came at just the right time. My hat also goes off to Alembic- I know I'm not telling anyone here anything they don't already know, but this bass spent a week traveling across the frigid US in the back of a UPS truck and I swear the ADG strings were still in tune when it got here and the B and E were not far off. Alembics are tanks. Pics, albeit just enlarged versions of the above, in showcase. -Jack |
