Selling my rig, of necessity. This rig includes the following::

Custom Bass Guitar - The ultimate tone machine.

Customized Musicman Stingray with Alembic Series I and/or Series II TYPE electronics, EMG active pickups, plus piezos! One of the coolest basses I've ever owned. Lots of money invested.

It starts out with a PRE-ernie ball music man Stingray maple neck in fantastic shape and frets in good condition. Original Shaller Tuners plus a hipshot drop D tuner!. The body has a beautiful woodgrain through the finish which is probably Koa. It looks and feels like a 70's precision body. The pickups are EMG active pickups in a P/J configuration. It also has a Zeta bridge with piezo pickup. The electronics are 18 volts with full shielding in the cavity. Although there is no circuit board resembling that found in the series instruments, the electronics seem and sound like a Series I or Series II setup, with the sweepable Q filters, cut boost knobs and 5 pin DIN plug out, though a 1/4 jack is also there and provides 100% capability, so you don't have to have the external power supply. I don't have the power supply or cable. You can switch between numerous combinations of sounds between the piezo and magnetic pickups. The range of sounds is truly wider than ANY bass I've ever owned-- including Wal, Jaydee, Status, Rick Turner, Pedulla, Fender, Kubicki, Tobias, Fodera, Ken Smith, Wilkins, Steinberger, Travis Bean, Brian Bromberg B-Quad... It really has that Alembic "thing" to it.

This is a custom bass and has a custom brass plate with the serial number identifying it. Quick disconnect straplock strap attached. Hard shell Case included. Bass is in nice shape, but a real player's axe with a whole lotta mojo. You have no idea how much I'd love to keep it...

Please make your best offer.
