There are several pictures of this bass in the Showcase discussion under the “Custom basses.”

Serial #75-025AC

The guitar features two, five piece, necks with Alembic typical through-body construction. The top neck is a baritone, six string guitar, (tuned A-D-G-C-E-A, five steps below standard guitar tuning) and the bottom is a fretless, four-string bass. The necks feature all brass hardware, with gold-plated Schaller tuning keys and the large Alembic “dove-style” anchors.

Wood Consistency:
Walnut Top & Back
Walnut Core
Rosewood and Walnut Peghead Veneers
Ebony Fingerboards

The electronics are all original ’75, active with the dual-9volt preamp & active tone, dual stereo output jacks and controls as per standard Series I design. The only exception is the addition of the neck selector, placed closest to the bass neck’s bridge. Included also is the original external AC preamp and custom road case.

The guitar is in 95% original condition. It shows ware in the form of a multitude of scuffs in the finish, none of which show any damage to the wood itself. The electronics make no excess noise in their condition today.

I have the signed documentation as per the above information and current retail replacement value quote. I also have a photocopy of an Alembic brochure that has a picture of Rick Turner and Ron Wickersham holding this instrument.

Please – only serious buyers please inquire, final price to be negotiated upon inquiry (No trade-in will be considered as part of the sale). Please feel free to contact me at any time concerning this: paulboulet@hotmail.com.

Thank you.
