Bolt on "Elan" neck on ebay

IIRC, if one of those basses is offered for sale, Mica usually contacts seller and asks to remove the "Alembic Elan" name. The seller may be honest in what he thinks he has, but it's still a counterfeit. I emailed the seller last night. It's really best to be as polite as possible when helping people understand what they are selling. Most of the people selling these fakes are victims themselves. Most will cooperate with my request of removing the Alembic name and selling as a "no-name" item. I couldn't find the relisting... can you post a URL? It's best to not harass such folks, it won't help them do the right thing. Hopefully he will accept my invitation to remove the trademarks and sell as a no-name item. I will report through ebay's VERO program (for trademark holders) tomorrow night if it's still listed.
