I have for sale an Alembic Epic. This bass was built in 1998. I have owned it since around 2001. It is in good shape. Everything works as designed. The construction is walnut cap over mahogany body; ebony board on laminated maple neck with walnut veneer on headstock. Includes matching D-Tuner as well as original tuner.

The only issue is that there are areas of the poly satin finish that have been buffed glossy from use. The gloss is not distracting but it is disclosed so there are no suprises. I haven't played it in a while, so it may need a setup to suit your tastes. Strings are fairly new Ken Smith Rock Masters.

I need $1250 for this bass plus shipping. Will ship in a plastic non-original hardshell case. PayPal e-check or US Postal money order accepted as payment.

Thanks for looking

That's a beautiful walnut top. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the kind words about this bass. I like it too. I'm very reluctant in selling it. I know I'll probably not be able to own an Alembic again for a while. It is a great bass.
