Greetings all...I have a Fernadez series I copy without active electronics(previously removed) and a 1981 Distillate...schematics/parts list for distillate electronics would be SO helpful to make the Fernades a proper backup bass...thanks in advance, Tony.

Tony:

Welcome to the club. Your Fernandes was based on an Alembic Series I. (I have a guitar version of one of these that has been extensively modified with bona fide Alembic guts, among other mods). The Distillate's electronics are significantly different from Series electronics. What are you trying to accomplish? If you want the Fernandedes to be wired like it used to be, your best bet, IMHO would be to pick up a set of Series electronics from Alembic (expensive) or wait for a set on ebay (rare, but less expensive). Alternatively, you could put Distillate-type electronics in and just cover up the humcanceller route in the middle. If you tell us more precisely what you want, I'm sure there will be several members that can offer good advice.

Greetings. The humcanceller is still there, just not hooked up. I realize I'd have even more empty holes than I have now, but I just figured that wiring it like my Distillate would be best and cheapest...basically I just wanna be able to switch basses without having to change all my pedalboard settings, etc...Tony.

I just saw this thread and wondered whether the Q filter from a set of Activators be a potential solution?
