I have just listed my fretted handmade Prometeus Carl Thompson tribute on ebay and may also consider selling my outrageous Prometeus solid Zebrawood fretless!

If any member here is interested then I would probably give a very reasonable b.i.n option exclusively to fellow Alembic club members!

These are absolute killer basses handbuilt (virtually with hand tools only) by the outstanding young Italian luthier Armando Pugliese - no cnc routing machines here folks!

Pics upon request.

You may want to consider providing a link. I ran a search for Prometeus on Ebay and came up with nothing.

Sorry Dave, I should clarify the listing appears on ebay.co.uk - I have stated worldwide postage so I assumed that it would automatically appear on ebay.com

Go to www.prometeusguitars.com where my stunning Zebrawood fretless is the main picture on the site. My fretted is also featured on the site in a video where the famous french bassist Patrick Djivas (a close friend of the late great Jaco Pasorius) plays it and states in Italian "first class!"

Will it make me sound like Les Claypool?

/I've always liked the looks of Carl Thompson instruments.

Its very light weight and perfectly balanced but if you drop it on your toe it will certainly make you sing like Les Claypool!
