Wow, I have triple omega JPJ with anniversary electronics now long scale now...I love the bass but I've sometimes wondered if the 32" scale would suit me better. That with the Series 1 electronics. Hmmm, should I try to sell my JPJ and go for this one? Tempting. |

You should buy this one now and see which one you like better. ;) |

Bill has it right. If money allows, it's always better to buy and try before letting go of the known quantity. Shorter scale lengths are awesome for a little extra speed or comfort moving around the neck. |

Of course, if you are like most around here, you'll end up keeping both. |

Well, my Alembics are worth more now than a year ago. I can't say the same for my stocks. I should have bought more Alembics!! |

My "spare" cash is sitting a few vintage Fenders. I expect a serious ROI on those. |

No, I mean why it hasn't sold yet. I think ( for that little I know about Alembics )that the price is right and actually he's also accepting offers. |

There is nothing wrong with the bass. It takes a while, even in good times, to sell a $3700 instrument. |

A Series bass will certainly scratch any Alembic itch you might have. |
