I'm back - anyone interested in a Alembic Series I Triple Omega? The bass is a 2003 Alembic Series I bass with Buckeye Burl front (bookmatched to center) and back. It has the Triple Omega body shape. The neck has red side LEDs and the inlays are abalone shell. The peghead has the recessed silver logo with abalone. The bass comes with a 5 pin cord, DS-R5 power supply, strap locks, the original paperwork with an unsigned warranty card, hard shell case and Allen Wrenchs. The bass is currently fitted with a new set of the old style knobs and the original knobs will be included with the sale (as you know there is no modification needed to interchange the old style knobs with the new knobs). The bass is in mint condition almost never played. Would be willing to listen to offers over $6,500. I'm looking to sell the bass fast so I can purcahse instrument I found. If the other instrument sells first I will keep this bass.

Mark, is it a 34" or a 32" scale?

Greg, it is a 34" scale. The bass sounds even better than it looks.

WHOA. Gotta catch my breath! That buckeye burl is off the hook...Mother Nature is truly the best abstract expressionist artist.

The other instrument you want to buy must really be something if you're willing to let this one go.

How much does it weigh?

Can you describe the neck taper, i.e. what is the mesurement at the nut - 1.75 inches, 1.625 inches or 1.5 inches? Also, what are the measurements at the 12th fret? Thanks!

Alright everyone! Some of you will remember that a while ago, I said I was to purchase a Brown Bass, or a Signature Deluxe. But this bass showed up, and I have always been in love with the Triple Omega shape. So I want to let you all know that yes, I bought this bass!!!
Man I'm excited!!!!! I'll only get my hands on it next month, and that is killing me.
My first Series bass.... I'm out of breath....
Boy, am I happy...

Ok, let me calm down...

But hey, just look at it:

Oh happy day!

Oh man...congrats Greg,

I love the triple omega shape and buckeye burl.

It might take me a month to calm myself after a purchase like that...I could probably stop drinking coffee altogether.

what a beauty!!!

Very cool Greg. I don't think I've ever felt this way before, but series I electronics controls almost look dainty on that bass. Play it in good health for a long time.

Mario, as soon as I get to bring the bass to Brazil, we can organize a Gathering of our own here. What do you say? You sure will be able to play it!

Folks,
I've been away for a while. I've come to the US for family vacation and to grab my bass. Just to let you know that the bass is in my hands now. And that it is unbelievable.
I'm going back to Brazil on saturday, then I will take a whole bunch of pictures and share it with you.
