Next week I'll be putting this bass on the Demo Model section of the website, but I offer it here first. Alembic Club membership has it's privileges.

It's a 2005 Orion bass, comfort taper neck, Flame Maple top. Amber/red side LEDs on Ebony fingerboard. There are a few minor dings on the back, but otherwise in great shape. It's sold as a new bass with a full warranty. Price is $2900 and includes a hardshell case. A new 2009 Orion would run $7950 retail with case for reference and the specs for the 2005 and 2009 are the same.

Thank God it isn't fretless.

That might've been a non-survivable event.

Only the ding on the side has made a slight break in the finish, which we've already put a drop of glue on to arrest it's progression.

There's a few more scant dings on the body, but these are the only ones that I can capture in an image.

The fretboard looks interesting. Is that ebony? I see some "flame like" hues in the neck. Pretty cool!

The fingerboard is Ebony. It's the same as we used on Yahya's Big Bass.

I thought that fretboard looked familiar! It was also used on my plum- http://alembic.com/info/fc_plum.html

This is some nice ebony, people!

Nice guitar Bluplist(That Ph neck must be rock solid!)>

I dig the fretboard on these guitars, the absence of inlays allow that beautiful Ebony to make a statement.
