I thought I recognised the damage around the jack socket from some other thread, although I couldn't find the serial on the forums. No case. And yes, the area around the jack appears to be damaged. If it hasn't been done already, I suppose one could glue in a supporting laminate in the area of the jack inside the control cavity. Of course the jack grounds to the shielding paint, so that would have to be accounted for in the process.
