This bass today would list out at over $9,000
Made in USA, Santa Rosa, 5 string, 24 frets, 34 inch scale. Neck through with maple (4) and purpleheart(3) laminates and mahogany body with maple & purpleheart laminates and Quilted Maple top. Gorgeous! Two Alembic active pickups with volume, pickup balance, low-pass filter, Q-switch and bass/treble boost/attenuate switches. Hardware is standard Alembic Europa Circuit, check the Alembic web-page for details. You can adjust almost everything.

The electronics and the frets are in excellent shape. The action on this guy is the way I like - Super low. All original.

Tonally, the bass is deep and crisp. Lots of snap for a great slap tone, and there's plenty of low end.

The bass comes in an Alembic form-fit case.

Received the bass about 2 hours ago and (even though I'm at work) couldn't put it down. A truly amazing piece. The photo above doesn't even do it justice.
