I have an Epic 5 string fretless that I need to sell. I never play it, and it needs to go to a good home where it can be played lots. I don't particularly like eBay, and am wondering what sort of price I should expect for it. The serial number is 96W10140, and the bass is in almost mint condition. I watched eBay (which I also don't particularly like) for a couple months looking specifically for an Epic 5 fretless. I came across plenty of Epics, but sadly no fretless 5's. The general price range for your bass from my experience would be between $800 and $1200 depending on factors like the wood, the case (and case candy), and how generous you are feeling :-). I ended up getting myself an Epic 4 fretless with a vermilion top, and I'm very happy with it...That's not to say that I'm not looking for an older sibling, perhaps a 5-string fretless...So feel free to email me all the pics and info you've got at adaml84@nycap.rr.com .
