Folks, I'm looking to simplify my sound options a bit, so I'm selling my SF-2. I like the way my Series basses sound with the F-1X better than I do with the F-1X and SF-2 chained. Too many options for me. Looking for $350.

I've also just added a Crown XS500, so my SWR SM500 is also available. I wasn't using the built-in pre-amp (gee, I wonder why? *cough*F-1X*cough), so I decided to run the F-1X through a power amp. Looking for $650. If an Alembic Club member wants both I can go $925.

Got the manuals for both.

Feel free to email me at martinjlm@aol.com

Peace,

James

James: if I were you I'll keep the filter for a while and combine it with the F1-X and Poweramp combination. Sounds great in my case.
Just a suggestion

Paul,

I considered it. I came to the conclusion that I am really satisfied with the tones I get with the F-1X and my Series I & Series II controls. I actually considered primarily because it also helped me get some cool tones on my non-Alembic basses.

In any event, I started paying attention to how much I used it.....

BTW - It's sold already.

Peace,

James

Hey Paul,

Keep those nylons in your pocket, buddy. As I "simplify" my sound, the only things that are moving out of my music room are electronic. The F-1X stays, unless I decide at some point I want an F-2B. More importantly, my woods ain't goin' nowhere. In fact, at some point in the near future I may need to toss a couple more logs in there.

Peace,

James
