I can't see clearly but it looks like it has at least signature electronics. But with a pickup selector like that could it possibly be a series bass with hidden hum canceller coil?
There is something close to the output jack but the picture is not clear enough to see if it is a 5pin socket or a switch for possibly the led's.

What do you think?
Considering it is also located in Roswell, could it be an unidentified funky object?

I'm just guessing, but I'll bet it has Anniversary Electronics, which include a Mono-Stereo switch by the 1/4-inch plug. That would make it 2 volumes, 2 filters, a pickup selector, and a mono-Stereo switch.

Yeah Ken, I think you are right. I always forget that package.

That must sound incredible with those electronics on a maple body and neck. I would think it would have a punch like Mike Tyson. But sayni think it's a good package to control the natural brightness of the standard Elan. Imagine what the bass would sound like with both filters wide open and both q-switches on.

I can imagine FC_Spoiler being interested in that.
Although i have to say I'd love that myself.

Awesome indeed and I'm always in the market for the right Alembic :-)

Currently I have more GAS for an Orion 5 (set neck, dark top) and a affordable Series I though...

@ Jazzy: I'll report on a Maple top/body Elan with 3 filters full open + max Q through the Mesa "Wall of deaf" ASAP (hopefully December/January)

Who's going to grab this one?

OK , I have been thinking about it ; I am watching her and she is smiling back at me now (metaphor, I am not having a delusion ) Well I may have to try to acquire this one. It would mean having to go to Roswell to make a personal pick up since I seem to be TOO OCD to have Alembics shipped to me ,LOL! I guess we will just have to see what happens.

I was going to ask the seller a few question but it appears that one of my questions has already been answered. I was hoping that this one would be 34" but it is 32'. There has been another ELAN on eBAy for a while that is 34" for $2,000 "BUY IT NOW '" I have been watching that one too .I will just wait and see.

It's hard to find a 32" scale Alembic, other than Spoilers, which would have been a little brother to my '83 Distillate (32 is a perfect fit for me). So I went after this one, not crazy about Walnut or the four on a side headstock, but I couldn't resist the better electronics!
