Hi, folks!
I guess everything is said in the title... Except the fact that I'd prefer to buy it to someone located in Europe ( I'm in France).
Have a nice day, everybody!...

Hey, Christophe,

I might be able to help you out. I'm thinking of selling my SF-2- I just purchased it in June or July, I believe. It's in mint condition, with very little use, and as far as I can tell, very little to no blemishes, dings, or dents of any kind. It works perfect, but as I just purchased a Series II, I'm not so sure I need it, any longer.

I just paid $955 for it, it's yours for $850, plus shipping. I might be able to move a little on the price, but again, it is next to brand new.

If you're interested, shoot me an email, okay?

Thanks;)

Hi, Frank
Thank you for your message. First, let me congratulate you for your recent purchase, I saw it in the forum, and your new Series II looks so nice and I guess, it must sound like never... You a lucky bassist! I think a Series II will be my holy graal!
I have a question about the SF-2 voltage. In Us, it works with 110 volts, and in Europe in 230. Is there a little switch on the preamp to choose the voltage.
Thanks, and all the bass't!

Christophe,

I will check on that and let you know. If that's the way Alembic is building them, lately, then I'm sure it does. I'll let you know as soon as possible, okay?
What say we do $800 plus shipping on the SF-2, if it has the switch you need. Sound good? By the way, thanks for the kind words, I couldn't be more happy with the bass. The Series II Alembics are unmatched in sound, playability, appearence, and construction- they should be every Alembician's Holy Grail because there's nothing out there that tops them!

Thanks;)

Xtof, yes there is, I bought one from the USA and I'm in England on 240v.
I was looking for the info on the forum for it but can't find it. I'm sure Dave will know.

The SF-2 uses a separate transformer (AC/DC adapter)(wall wart). You should be able to find locally an AC/DC adapter that supplies 10.5 - 17VDC with a miniature coaxial connector that will plug into the back of the SF-2. It is important to make sure that the center contact of the connector is positive.

As a reminder; when buying or selling from the US to Europe, don't forget to consider import duties.

Ooops wrong information, I bought mine from the UK Alembic Distributor so it came with a UK power supply. I must have been thinking about the F1-x that I got from a seller in the USA.
