Is the sale just for the pickups alone or does it include the electronics too?

They're STR pickups: i.e. same size as a Stratocaster pickup. Without electronics, they're not very useful.

How would that work without any tone controls or can you use normal tone controls with the stratoblaster?

I imagine that you'd probably use pots valued at 250K or less, and would have to crank the $H!T out of the trim pot on the blaster in order to make it work. You'd might as well do away with the bypass switch on the blaster, because with the circuit cut, I can't imagine that you'd be passing much signal. That's my hypothesis, but hopefully Bill can chime in because his "shop nite" guitar has a similar setup.

When I bought them a couple of different guys on the site told me I could pair them with a stratoblaster or any other in guitar preamp I think but I never put them to the test. With 2 series I's a plenty of other long necked friends, I never got around to the project. I hope the new owner enjoys them

Yes, indeed, my "shopnight" strat has Alembic pickups through a stratoblaster. I believe the tone control is a standard type passive control. I'm in Key West at the moment, so I can't eyeball it to be sure.

Bill, tgo
