So that one on ebay must have been before that restriction was in place. I think she also said that all of Stanley's personal alembics are short scale. It's a lovely bass, I would have been very tempted even though it's a very old model if I had not bought my dragon earlier this year. But i guess someone else from Europe will get that one as the price would be high for USA buyers. Short scale is 30.75".
